WILLEMSTAD - The driver who drove the car that was involved in a fatal accident last Saturday near the shopping mall Zuikertuintje was arrested. The police suspect that she was driving under the influence of alcohol. She was also speeding.
The passenger who sat behind her was thrown out of the car in the accident and died on the spot. The driver and two other passengers were slightly injured.
Drinking, speed and not wearing the seat belt is often the cause of fatal accidents.
