WILLEMSTAD - More than 10,000 kilos of dry dog food will be sent to Curaçao in the near future.
Animal protection organization House of Animals in Amsterdam fears that stray dogs on the island will starve to death because of the corona measures that they get little food from tourists and restaurants.
The first forty bags, over 1000 kilos, of food arrived on Sunday, says Karen Soeters of House of Animals.
More than fifty volunteers from the Feed Friends Foundation ensure that the dogs receive their food daily.
