THE HAGUE - The afternoon part of the opening day of the Inter-Parliamentary Kingdom meeting was dominated by the unstable situation in neighboring Venezuela.

Not only is the economy of both countries hit hard, but there is also a great fear that migrants will also bring arms, drugs, prostitutes and diseases into the countries of Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.

The introduction of a possible visa requirement was discussed. Aruba and Sint Maarten are ahead. Curaçao has not yet taken a position.
