On New Year's Day 2017 mother Charlotte and daughter disappeared, together with the new friend of the mother. Nobody knows where they went to. When they searched their home in Bergen op Zoom, the police found two letters stating that they had fled.

Lawsuit
According to mother Charlotte, there is no question of a kidnapping. She only wanted peace and two months of vacation. They stayed a bit longer, but they really wanted to go back, said the mother.
The police have a completely different suspicion and speak of a serious criminal offense. The judge will rule in two weeks.
