KRALENDIJK - Dutch embassies must do more to promote and represent Caribbean countries. This was stated by Member of Parliament for the coalition partner PNP Sheldry Osepa in the context of the Interparliamentary Conference (IPKO) in Bonaire.
According to the Member of Parliament, the embassies seem to have no interest in showing the face of Curaçao, Aruba and Sint Maarten in the countries where they are located.
If it is up to Osepa, parliamentarians will also receive a course in dealing with cultural sensitivities.
