Local | By Correspondent November 13, 2020

THE HAGUE - According to the Second Chamber of the Dutch parliament, aid to poor and vulnerable residents of Curaçao must be given priority in the reforms that the island will implement together with the Netherlands. Yesterday, Undersecretary Raymond Knops of Kingdom Relations spoke with the Second Chamber Standing Committee for Kingdom Relations. In particular, attention was paid to the question of how the reforms can help to combat poverty.

Much attention was also paid to the situation regarding undocumented migrants who live on the island and are not insured. The Second Chamber also wants them to have access to medically necessary care.
