THE HAGUE - Barely a year after the House of Representatives Committee for Kingdom Relations surrendered years of knowledge and experience due to the departure of André Bosman (VVD) and Ronald van Raak (SP), a new bloodletting threat now that Attje Kuiken has been elected as party leader of the PvdA.
A possible reshuffling of the spokespersons in the faction has yet to be decided, but it is certain that the faction leadership will take up a lot of time. Kuiken has already decided not to travel with the Dutch delegation to the Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultation that will be held in Sint Maarten at the beginning of May.
Kuiken has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2006. As spokesperson for Kingdom Relations, she mainly puts social issues on the agenda in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
