WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) and Kolektivo are the new strategic partners of E-sport organization Fuego for the year 2022. The aim of the partnership is to attract more tourists to Curaçao.
In E-sports, professional video gamers are paid to play against each other. E-sports has become an important part of the video game industry, nowadays it hosts many tournaments and events.
Fuego is the first E-sports organization ever launched in Curaçao with expansion into the Caribbean. “It is a great honor to work with organizations such as CTB and Kolektivo, because we believe that together we can achieve great things for our island,” the organization said.
According to Fuego, the well-being of Curaçao is one of the important goals of the collaboration. “Together with Kolektivo, we hope to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability and create social responsibility among the younger generation.”
