WILLEMSTAD - Member of Parliament Eduard Braam of the coalition party MFK goes to court to clear his name. Braam was previously a candidate to become Minister of Justice in the current cabinet of Gilmar Pisas. However, he withdrew just before the associated screening process.
Braam decided to do so after he became the subject of discussion due to a conviction from his past. In fact, the screening of Eduard Braam never took place. Braam's decision to go to court now is striking. He previously indicated that he was no longer interested in a ministerial position.
