WILLEMSTAD - A group of eight Venezuelans is isolated from the rest in prison.
The measure is the result of tensions in the SDKK and a fight between Curaçao and Venezuelan prisoners. One of the Venezuelans was shot in his leg near his private part, according to a source close to the situation in prison.
The Venezuelans say that they are being abused by the prison guards and demand legal assistance which they haven’t received since day one.
