WILLEMSTAD - The Multidisciplinary Team carried out several inspections again last weekend. The team included members of the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) and the police.
According to the team, it was busy on the street last weekend. Twenty businesses were inspected on Friday, seven of which had to close. Ten businesses were inspected on Saturday, four of which were closed.
Reasons for closing the business included: too busy, too little social distance, loud music, etc.
This weekend the team mainly looked at catering establishments in Rosendaal, Sta. Maria, Rooseveltweg, Churchillweg, Veeris, Otrobanda, Maripampun / Bapor Kibra, Mahaai, Dominguitu, Caracasbaaiweg and Janthiel.
Businesses that must close will, in any case, not be allowed to open their doors for three days.
