Emergency hospital Sehos is ready

WILLEMSTAD - An emergency hospital has been set up in the St. Elisabeth Hospital (Sehos). Among other things, it has 34 intensive care rooms ready. Sixty isolation rooms have also been installed.

This was announced by the director of the Sehos Anthon Casperson. According to Casperson, this means that the Sehos is ready for a possible outbreak of the coronavirus in Curaçao.

Preparations have been made in consultation with the Department of Epidemiology. The beds and isolation rooms are located in the eastern part of the Sehos.
