WILLEMSTAD - The employees of the Curaçao Refinery Utilities (CRU) have all accepted the offer of parent company Curaçao Refinery (RdK). Their dismissal will take effect on 1 October and they will receive an additional two months' salary.
This was announced by RdK director Marcelino de Lannoy.
Last week, the employees were told that their contract runs until September 30. In addition, they were given the option to receive 2 months extra payment in the event of a voluntary departure. That is much more than the two weeks required by law, according to De Lannoy.
