WILLEMSTAD - The refinery personnel employed by Curaçao Refinery Utilities (CRU) will remain in service for at least another 3 months. This is according to Refineria di Kòrsou director Marcelino de Lannoy.
The RdK has not yet concluded a definitive contract with Curaçao Oil Refinery Complex BV, the company that will manage and operate the refinery in the future. Curaçao Refinery Utilities falls under the RdK and took over the local refinery staff after the departure of PDVSA until a new operator was found. That eventually became the recently established Curaçao Oil Refinery Complex. De Lannoy hopes that a final agreement can be signed within 1 month.
