WILLEMSTAD - The pension payments in the month of September were paid out by ENNIA. The management confirms this. A message has been circulated on social media stating that the insurance company would not be able to make this month's pension payments.
It turned out that a number of pensioners had not yet received the pension payment into their bank account on Friday, after which some unrest arose.
“We received confirmation on Saturday 25 September that all pension payments have been sent to the various banks”, according to the ENNIA board.
The insurance company has now received confirmation from all banks that the payments will be on the account of the pensioners before the end of the afternoon.
