WILLEMSTAD - Former Girobank director Eric Garcia can leave the prison on Friday and go home. For health reasons, he may continue to serve his sentence under house arrest.
Garcia is 78 and has been serving a four-year sentence since May this year. He is said to have embezzled 11 million guilders in the bankruptcy case of Banco Maracaibo.
