Face masks required on KLM flights

Local | By Correspondent May 12, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - Passengers on board of KLM aircraft have been required to wear face masks since yesterday.

It is one of the measures taken by the airline in connection with the corona virus. KLM flies only once a week from 5 May to 1 July from Amsterdam to Curaçao. The Boeing 777-200 mainly transports residents who were still stranded abroad and who were unable to return.

Travelers must also provide face protection masks themselves. In order to prevent further spread of the coronavirus, the aircraft are also cleaned more frequently and more thoroughly and the contact moments between crew and passengers during the flight are kept to a minimum.
