WILLEMSTAD - Visitors to Willemstad can once again use both ferries. On Monday, one of the two boats required maintenance, as reported by the Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA).
Due to the repair work on the ferry, only one boat was available from Otrobanda to Punda and back.
The service is particularly intended for times when the Queen Emma Bridge, officially known as the Pontoon Bridge, is docked to the side for an extended period. This situation prevents pedestrians from crossing the Sint Annabay from one side to the other.
The specific details of the ferry's malfunction are not known.
