SCHIPHOL - The KLM and TUI flights that fly to Curaçao on Friday have experienced little disruption from the storm Eunice that rages over Europe. So far, one KLM flight has been delayed until 19:00 tomorrow. No flights have been canceled.
The delayed KLM flight with flight number KL767 flies from Amsterdam to Aruba and Bonaire and back to Amsterdam. Because the flight will now fly a day later, Aruba and Bonaire have two KLM flights tomorrow.
Storm Eunice is crossing the Netherlands on Friday. It concerns a 'severe storm' with strong gusts of wind up to 123 kilometers per hour in Vlissingen. The KNMI has issued a code red for the entire country. It is strongly advised not to go out on the road and to stay indoors.
In contrast to the flights to Curaçao, dozens of other flights have been canceled. KLM canceled 170 flights alone. All train traffic in the Netherlands is also shut down.
