WILLEMSTAD - The Ombudsman of Curaçao received 568 complaints in 2019. 82 less than the year before. More than 400 could be resolved.
As in 2018, most complaints were directed against the Ministry of Justice, around 75. The Ministry of Traffic and Transport received 59 complaints and the Ministry of Planning and Administration 47.
The Ombudsman once again draws attention to the position of his institute because he generally received little attention for his recommendations.
