WILLEMSTAD - Federashon Futbol Korsou (FFK), the Curaçao football federation is investigating an incident during a football match last Saturday. Supporters ran onto the field and fought with players during that match.
It was the match between Inter Willemstad and Victory Boys. Videos are circulating on social media showing the supporters on the field. One of them lashed out at one of the players.
"FFK disapproves of all forms of violence and aggression, both inside and outside the stadium," the Football Association said in a statement. “An investigation has been launched into the incident with a view to arriving at appropriate penalties.”
