WILLEMSTAD - During the first week of June, Curaçao Chamber of Commerce & Industry in cooperation with Holland House Colombia organized the first Curaçao-Colombia Digital Mission opening up concrete opportunities for Curaçao entrepreneurs to explore the Colombian market prospects and meet 1 on 1 with potential clients and partners.
Eleven Curaçao based companies were able to meet during more than 80 digital meetings to touch, base, connect, and pitch their companies or business proposals to carefully selected Colombian business counterparts.
Participating companies indicated having been matched to the right counterparts, meeting their expectations and have experienced the digital mission as a perfect first step in positioning their company in the Colombian market or connecting to the right potential partners.
The following days and weeks will require follow up on both sides, making it clear soon if the mission has also propelled potential business opportunities and signed deals to expand the export efforts of the Curaçao entrepreneurs.
The digital mission concept for Curacao´s SMEs is proving to be a very cost-efficient way to explore and tap into new export opportunities without the need to travel under current safety measure situations and the digitalization adoption globally.
