WILLEMSTAD - On Saturday, April 02nd, in connection with the "Pact of Punda", Downtown Management Organization (DMO) launches its first Punda Local Fair.
Around 60 local small businesses will be coming in the streets of Punda selling their products; local arts, local food, fresh fruit and vegetables, handicrafts, locally made beauty & health products, plants, and more. The fair will be concentrated this time on Plaza Jojo Correa and in Madurostraat.
For the kids, we will have bouncers, egg and scavengers hunt, popcorn amongst others.
As entertainment, we will kick off the "Kindermuziek week" organized by "Fundashon Beti Doran" with the kids' choirs Angelitos and Sweet Dancers.
Furthermore, we will have a local Tipiko and Kaha Orgel sponsored by Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), our local Folkloric dance group Futuro Memoria di Korsow and Colombian dance group Danza y Folclor Curlatina will also perform and a presentation of "E Pèrlanan di Kòrsou" who will be delighting the public with their new songs.
The main purpose of this event is to bring more ambiance and positive vibes to Punda and attract people from all over the island to our historic downtown.
