WILLEMSTAD - Telephone, television and internet company Flow is experiencing a disruption due to the migration of accounts to another account system. A spokesperson confirms to the Dutch news site Nu.cw that there are customers who are currently deprived of internet, television and fixed telephony.
Flow started migrating accounts from the Flow system to the UTS system in the night from Thursday to Friday. "Flow wants to work with one billing system for all its customers and a software error occurred during the migration," said the spokesperson.
The telecommunications company is switching from the Cerillion billing platform, which Flow works with, to UTS's Converse billing platform. "One billing system also makes things more transparent for the customer."
This would involve about 300 customers who are currently unable to surf the web, watch television and make calls on their home telephones. According to the spokesperson, the problem will be solved this morning.
Next weekend, further migration of accounts to the other billing platform will take place.
