Ramon Chong, the chairman of the PNP, had to resign as candidate minister of economic development this weekend. He does not qualify for the job because after the screening process if became clear that he has a criminal record. Earlier, Eduard Braam dropped out as candidate-minister of Justice. He also has a criminal record, but he decided to resign before it was officially announced.
The two ministries, Economy and Justice are provisionally taken over by Gilmar 'Pik' Pisas, who is also intended to be prime minister of the tenth cabinet after October 10, 2010.
