WILLEMSTAD - Former President of the Curaçao Parliament and former karate master William "Junior" Millerson died this morning. He had cancer and was in the Netherlands for treatment, but the medical professionals were unable to do anything for him. He was a member of the coalition party PAR.

“Millerson, 67, was truly a man of discipline and honor”. The feeling of loss is great in the PAR party, but also with all his colleagues in the sports world and the people. PAR Member of Parliament Stephen Walroud says that only a miracle could have saved Millerson.

“In the last phase, he was particularly well cared for in a family atmosphere. Early this morning the President of Parliament, Ana Maria Pauletta, informed me that he had left. Gone too soon. May he rest in peace,” said Walroud.
