WILLEMSTAD - The fourteen soldiers who were recently suspended are back in the Netherlands. They are soldiers of the airmobile brigade of the Johan Willem Friso barracks in Assen and are now awaiting the investigation, Defense reports.
The soldiers were arrested after information was found on a drug dealer's phone. The drug dealer had the military's phone numbers in his phone. One soldier stayed behind in Curaçao with his family.
Defense has taken measures to prevent drug use in the future. Information sessions will be held and unexpected drug checks will take place. A zero-tolerance policy is applied in this regard.
The fourteen soldiers have been suspended by the Defense and are at home.
