WILLEMSTAD - Free education (Enseñansa Liber in Papiamento) has failed. The Roman Catholic school board comes to that conclusion.
This form of Education was introduced in 2012 by the Pueblo Soberano party (PS) to reduce inequality and to offer free education to all children.
According to the Catholic school board, it even leads to more inequality, because people with enough money still have more of it because they don't have to pay school fees.
