WILLEMSTAD - The FSHP is proud to announce to the business community of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao that – through a working relationship with the CCI IG, an Authorised Exam Centre of Cambridge English, in Guadeloupe – it now offers the possibility to prepare employees for the Cambridge English exams at three levels: B2 (Cambridge First), C1 (Cambridge Advance) and C2 (Cambridge Proficiency). This is all possible at the foundation’s Erasmus Centre For Language Studies.
Participants can be prepared for the exams at the centre in Curaçao. The exams will be facilitated, coordinated and supervised by CCI IG in Curaçao for participants of the Dutch Caribbean. The CCI IG Exam centre is an authorised exam centre of Cambridge English which prepares and organizes international exams.
The training will be provided in groups by qualified native speaker teachers. All the group courses will focus on each of the core language skills that are tested on the Cambridge exams, namely listening, speaking, reading (and use of English) and writing. The duration depends on the results of the compulsory entry level test and can vary from 10 weeks to 30/40 weeks at 2 hours a week.
Advantage of the Erasmus Centre for Language Studies
The Erasmus Centre for Language Studies is of great advantage for participants of the Dutch Caribbean countries Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire. Participants of these islands are no longer required to travel long distances to foreign countries for the exams. Besides the training and exam preparation, the CCI IG/ECLS will take care of all the administrative procedures: from the registration process, to the exam results and presentation of the Cambridge certificates. Erasmus Centre for Language Studies will save both the company and the employee time and money by allowing the participants to take their exams in Curaçao.
Though we strongly recommend to take the course and do the exam preparation it is possible to register only for the exam at the ECLS.
Cambridge English Exams
The Cambridge English exams can open up a world of possibilities in the field of studies, employment and/or travels for the participants. These international exams of supreme quality are designed to develop practical English language communication skills for career and study success based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and are extensively researched by one of the world’s largest dedicated language research teams.

With a Cambridge English Certificate, the student will be able to prove his/her English language skills to universities, employers and governments around the world.

Coming Examinations
English exams are offered for all levels; our centre offers independent user exams (levels B1-B2) and proficient user exams (levels C1-C2). In addition, these exams, produced by Cambridge English Language Assessment, a department of the University of Cambridge, offer a certificate that is valid on a long-term basis, which will allow the participant to enhance his level and realize his professional and personal goals.
