KRALENDIJK - Fully vaccinated travelers from the Netherlands and the U.S. can travel to Bonaire from 1 July without testing. Lieutenant Governor Edison Rijna announced this in a press conference this morning.
This is because Bonaire expects the number of infections in those countries to decrease so much that they will become low-risk countries. Bonaire lowers the risk level of the island itself from level 2 to level 1. This is because almost all infections that still take place are among unvaccinated residents. There are also no more corona patients in hospital on Bonaire.
