WILLEMSTAD - The Lottery foundation Fundashon Wega di Number Korsou (FWNK) warns against scammers on social media. The fraudsters state that they already know the result before the draw and sell the 'winning numbers'.
According to FWNK director Javier Samson, it is a scam. Scammers edit the tickets with the results of the lottery offices via Photoshop and thus attract new customers.
People pay a hefty amount for the "winning numbers" offered by the sammers. However, after the payment, the lottery numbers are not passed on and the scammers' account is taken offline.
FWNK emphasizes that no one can know the result before the official draw. The draw takes place under strict conditions.
