WILLEMSTAD - Gasoline and diesel will be more expensive on Curaçao from Tuesday September 1. Electricity and water rates will also increase from 1 September.

This is reported by the Bureau Telecommunicatie en Post in its monthly press release on this topic. Gasoline and diesel will both become 5 cents per liter more expensive. Electricity and water are getting a little bit more expensive.

Bureau Telecommunicatie en Post monitors the price developments of oil products and utilities. The press release explains that the increase is due to higher purchase prices in the world market at the time of purchase.
