WILLEMSTAD - It’s the Gay Pride week again on the island. The celebrations were officially opened with a parade that started from the Rif Fort and finished at the Wilhelmina Plaza. This took place last night.
The Curaçao Pride was born seven years ago; it was a necessary step to spread awareness and equal rights of the LGBT community.
The Pride Week continues tonight with, among others, the Rainbow Lounge and the Epic Pride Party and will be closed on Sunday at the Floris Suite Hotel.
