WILLEMSTAD - Gilbert Cijntje has been appointed Rector Magnificus of Inter-Continental University of the Caribbean (ICUC). Cijntje has more than thirty years of teaching experience at bachelor's, master's and doctorate level, the university reports.
“The role of the Rector Magnificus is of the utmost importance, since the Rector carries a vision and manages everything within the university”, according to the ICUC about Cijntje.
ICUC was established in 1994 and recognized by the government in 2009. According to ICUC, its success is due to the introduction of high-level professional programs and collaborations with American and European universities.
