Gimena van der Gen becomes deputy Minister Plenipotentiary

WILLEMSTAD - Member of the coalition party PNP, Gimena van der Gen has been tapped as Deputy Minister Plenipotentiary in The Hague. This is according to sources close to the green party.  

 

Van der Gen currently works as an interim sector director at the Ministry of Justice. She is also a member of the Reform Committee, which aims to realize the National Package and the implementation agenda in collaboration with the ministries. Before Van der Gen became a member of PNP, in 2004 she was commissioner of Public Health for the Island Territory of Curaçao.  

 

As Deputy Plenipotentiary Minister, Van der Gen will support Minister Carlson Manuel of the MFK party in the Curaçao House in The Hague. The appointment has not yet been officially confirmed by the government.
