WILLEMSTAD - Minister Giselle McWilliam has also been threatened. On Facebook, the Minister of Economy received death threats under a post from lottery boss Robbie dos Santos.
The woman appears to be angry with Minister McWilliam for comments she made earlier this week about the owners of lottery offices.
Earlier, Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath was threatened because of the corona crisis. The lottery sector must dig deeper into their own pocket and help their employees financially, according to Giselle McWilliam and that message was not well received.
The minister has since filed a complaint and the lady who threatened her has been arrested.
