WILLEMSTAD - Yesterday, delegations from the future coalition parties MFK and PNP had a virtual conversation with Undersecretary Raymond Knops of Kingdom Relations for the second time after the start of the formation process.
PNP Chairman Ramon Chong said today that the conversation was "business-like and good." The Netherlands and the new coalition are on the same page on many points.
According to Chong, Knops has further said that he is "curious" about the proposals that the new coalition has to renegotiate the Caribbean Body for Reform and Development, COHO.
The Curaçao parties have handed over a letter to Knops and there is an appointment for a new virtual meeting, says Chong.
