WILLEMSTAD – Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas, together with the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Sithree van Heydoorn, and the Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP), Charles Cooper, held a meeting with the General Manager of Sandals Royal Curaçao, Jeffrey Speelman, to review progress made during 2025 and discuss perspectives for the year ahead.

During the meeting, the participants reflected on the key achievements realized throughout 2025 and exchanged views on future plans and expectations for 2026. Speelman expressed Sandals Royal Curaçao’s appreciation for the strong and ongoing collaboration with the Government of Curaçao, emphasizing the importance of public–private partnerships in supporting the island’s tourism sector.
The meeting also highlighted the role of Sandals Royal Curaçao in Curaçao’s broader economic development and tourism strategy, as well as opportunities for continued cooperation in the coming year.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the officials exchanged well wishes for a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with health and prosperity.
