WILLEMSTAD - People who apply for financial aid will receive the money in the week of April 27. That was announced during the government’s press conference.
The application must be made via www.fondodisosten.org. This website is active starting today April 18. The application must be received by Wednesday. Previous applications via minegoshi will be dropped.
What support is given?
- Employers can be reimbursed 20 to 80 percent of their employees' salaries. The employer's part to be paid to the SVB is exempt for April, May, and June. The employee's share must be paid.
- People who no longer have a job due to the corona measures can claim 1,000 guilders per month for April, May, and June. If you were unemployed before then, you are also entitled to compensation.
- Business owners without employees can receive 1335 guilders per month for the next three months. If your company is not registered with the Chamber of Commerce, this can still be done with the help of the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO).
- People in social assistance are entitled to 75 to 225 guilders, depending on the size of the family
- Aid may also be available for people who do not fit into one of these groups. It is recommended to apply.
