WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao government is going to invest 20 to 25 million guilders in the development of the Rif area. This should make the area cleaner and more attractive to tourists.
In the current mangrove forest, different mangroves will be cut down, but according to the government, this mainly concerns mangroves that are now on polluted soil.
This was announced by the Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning, who yesterday invited the press to view the work in the Rif area in Otrabanda, Willemstad.
