WILLEMSTAD - The measures taken by the Curaçao government to reduce the number of infections seem to be working, the number of new infections is falling drastically.
Yesterday there were 427 more, significantly less than at the beginning of last week. Despite this, the Pisas government is extending the time-out measures for another ten days. There are now 11,500 people in isolation.
The number of hospital admissions is slowly increasing. In one week's time, about 22 patients were added. There are now 54 people in the CMC with corona, thirteen of whom are in intensive care.
Fifteen corona patients have died in the past ten days.
