WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao government personnel were able to get their booster shot last Saturday in the sports hall at the Parera naval base. Through a collaboration between the Health Department and Defense in the Caribbean, as many employees as possible were provided with a vaccination.
The SDK stadium was previously opened as a second location for the booster against Covid-19. The government wants as many people as possible to get the shot in a short time. So far, 28,300 booster shots have been taken on Curaçao.
The vaccination project at the naval base went well on Saturday. Supporting the civil authorities is one of the constitutional tasks of Defense in the Caribbean.
