WILLEMSTAD - The government will open a portal where small and medium-sized companies can apply for credit.
This is for the tourism sector as well as for other sectors experiencing problems as a result of COVID-19 crisis. The purpose of these credit facilities is to support companies in covering the fixed costs.
Only companies that are established in Curaçao and registered with the Chamber of Commerce are eligible. The credit facility is provided by Korpodeko or Qredits and has a very low-interest rate of two percent.
