Government to Help Eric’s Adventure Tours Find New Location After Court Ruling

Local | By Correspondent December 5, 2025

WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao government has announced it will assist Eric Raphaela, owner of Eric’s Adventure Tours, in securing a new location for his business. The decision follows a court ruling issued yesterday against Raphaela, requiring him to vacate the site in Bapor Kibra where his buggy tour company has been operating.

According to the government, Raphaela has been using the location illegally. The dispute previously led to a direct confrontation between Raphaela and Charles Cooper, Minister of Traffic, Transportation and Spatial Planning (VVRP). However, despite that conflict, the government now says it intends to support the company in relocating its operations.

The ruling comes as authorities proceed with enforcement actions at the Bapor Kibra site, which has been designated for future public infrastructure development. With the court’s decision now final, the government aims to ensure that Eric’s Adventure Tours can continue operating from a lawful and suitable new location.
