WILLEMSTAD - On Monday April 25, a delegation of the Red Cross Curaçao visited the Governor of Curaçao with the collection box. As in previous years, May is the collection month for the Red Cross Curaçao. With this year's funds and donations, the Red Cross Curaçao hopes to be able to build a new building in Suffisant, where the previous building was completely destroyed by a fire in May 2020.
The Red Cross Curaçao is known for its humanitarian tasks in the field of disaster relief and assistance at social events, among other things. In order to provide for its activities, it is solely dependent on donations and fundraising.
