Local | By Press release June 11, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - On Tuesday 9 June, Mr. Norman Jansen, who works at the Royal Netherlands Military Police and an expert in the field of human trafficking and smuggling, presented the book entitled 'The Silence of the Water' to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout.

"The silence of the water" offers a special insight into the shocking world of human trafficking and smuggling. The story is based on true facts, partly personal experiences and is set, among other things, on the tropical island of Haiti in the period of the devastating earthquake of 2010.
