WILLEMSTAD – The Governor of Curaçao, H.E. Mauritsz de Kort, paid a visit on Thursday, 27 November 2025, to the Princess Wilhelmina Fund Foundation, of which he serves as patron. During the visit, the Governor received a tour from the foundation’s chair, Mrs. Ageeth Termars.
In honor of the upcoming 20th edition of the “Ride, Walk & Swim for the Roses,” scheduled for 25 January 2026, the Governor was presented with the first official event T-shirt by Mr. Benno van Leeuwen, chairman of the Ride for the Roses Foundation.
The Governor announced that he will make every effort to personally participate on 25 January, joining the thousands of participants who will complete the 7.8-kilometer route from Brionplein, across the Queen Juliana Bridge, and on to Mambo Beach.
The visit underscored the Governor’s continued commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to cancer awareness, solidarity, and community engagement on the island.
