WILLEMSTAD - On Monday, January 16, the Dutch Minister of Education, Culture and Science, Mr. Robertus Dijkgraaf together with State Secretary for Culture and Media, Mrs. Gunay Uslu paid a visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout. Discussions included preparations for the commemoration year of the slavery past and the possibilities for cooperation in the field of education and culture.
Also present at the meeting were Mr. Gerbert Kunst, director of International Policy, Mrs. Flora van Regteren Altena, coordinating policy officer, Heritage Department, and Mr. Jonas de Graaf, on behalf of the Representation of the Netherlands in Willemstad.
