WILLEMSTAD - The growth strategy of the Rhuggenaath government is a partial response to the requirement of the Financial Supervision Council (Cft) to make substantial cuts.
That's what the prime minister said during a recent debate in the Parliament of Curaçao. In a week's time he must indicate how Curaçao will cut 127 million guilders in the budget.
According to Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath that amount is unrealistic and Curaçao has to invest in the economy. In addition, the help of the Netherlands is indispensable.
