SCHIPHOL - KLM's advice to travel with hand luggage only does not apply to flights from our Caribbean islands, the airline reports. A malfunction in the baggage system this week led to problems at KLM with the suitcases of passengers transferring to a connecting flight at Schiphol.
The disruption will not affect KLM travelers who have Schiphol as their final destination. Incidentally, it remains busy in the baggage handling area due to the continuing staff shortage.
